22 July 2019: Copenhagen

Starting to get the hang of it and got off the ship and went straight to the bus stop with my 24 krone to catch bus 25 to town. Decided to go and explore another part of the city center and it took me to the Kings Garden.
Then i took a walk all along the different lakes on my way to  Orstedsparken to have my croissant and cappuccino overlooking this beautiful park away from the hustle and bustle of the city .
The little market that i saw last week was not there today so assume it is only over a weekend so will have to wait for next stopover that is over a weekend.
Then it was time for my weekly free Wi-Fi at Starbucks ,that was good for the internet was quick for a change, love sitting here for you have a view over the street with all the bikes and people coming and going. The trip back to the terminal was not that busy this time but i am always very glad when my eyes see the ship and i know back safe and sound.

23 July 2019: Rostock  Germany

 Hierdie was nou n teleurstelling want het in die hawe area gedock en die middedorp is 25 km weg so daar was geen manier dat ons net kon rondloop en die plekkie verken nie. Jy moes of n bus neem of die trein ,so is net gou by die local skip werkers se eetplek n draai gemaak en n paar eetgoed by die supermark gaan kry en was maar bly is terug skip toe want ek het verkoue en moet se, voel nie te fris nie. As mens mos siek voel is niks dan lekker of opwindend nie,jy wil net gaan le en kop toetrek.More is ons weer op die see en dan wag Helsinki vir nog n rondte.

24 July 2019: Helsinki Finland

Today my day started with a black snake passing my path!!!! My dood geskrik en net bly staan tot die 1m gedierte weggeseil het.A lot of building and demolition work going on in the harbor area so he must have decided to make a getaway.
Visited the market for the first time and took my time wandering between all the stalls. Very hot today, so then it was time for some ice-cream ,and sure enough a women came walking past with a cup of coffee in one hand and ice-cream in the other hand and Mr. Seagull decided he also feels like some ice-cream today, and that was the end of her ice-cream, she was not impressed!!!
So sat watching a seagull ice-cream fight, until it was all over.
Then it was time to make my stop at our favorite restaurant Loyly for a  ice cold apple cider with lots of ice. Was nice just to sit down and relax for must admit was still not feeling myself with this cold i have.
While sitting here a family came in and my word a girl of about 9 had a temper tantrum about a chair at my table that she wanted to sit in. Well first the mother took her outside but i am afraid when they came back in and she saw the chair it started all over again and i said they are welcome to change the chairs, just glad we passed that kind of thing,, not nice.
Was back in time to join hubby for an afternoon sleep and leaving Helsinki at 5 and sailing to St Petersburg Russia
I will be on board for the next 2 days for am only going to do my last visit to this beautiful city on our next cruise. This morning a lady started with the runs and was not happy when she was told she was going to be confined to her cabin for 2 days until it clears,must say feel sorry for them for you come all this way and then this happens,nie lekker nie,dink stil bly die beste maar rondloop met n goor maag kan ook n lelike affere afgee!! en as hy kom dan kom hy!!!!!!
The sail away from Helsinki made me think of Clifton Cape Town when we left and we passed some big boulders and rocks on a small island and there were people scattered all over them lying in the sun. Also had beautiful little wooden houses/boxes in different colors of the rainbow, along the sea, think they are changing room’s not actual houses. Sorry was to far to take a pic.

26 & 27 July 2019: 

The 2 days in Russia without getting off  the ship was quiet daunting but i survived and just had to check things out from deck 8 and 15 with a birds eye view over the city. Am very thankful for the excursions i have done, for think got to see all the most important places that tourists visit.
Sail away form St Petersburg is also a pretty view and was lucky to have a few of the hydrofoil boats come flying past us, also not something we see often.

28 Julie 2019: Tallinn Estonia

Hier moes ek alleen rondloop en na n lekker ontbyt toe rustig die tog aangepak middedorp toe.Probeer elke keer n ander pad neem om ander plekke te sien,nie baie lief vir die padkaardte nie en stap sommer net en as ek iets intressants sien dan lei dit weer na iets anders.
Die keer het ek n draai gemaak by die oudste apteek in die wereld Raeapteek dink hulle  het gese 1422, kan dit wees!!! amazing,was ongelukkig nie oop nie so moes toe tevrede wees om net deur die glas deur te loer,maar net die gebou was weer vir my so mooi.
Toe is dit weer tyd vir die snaakse name  die keer is winkel se naam Galeri Kaks en n ou winkeltjie met wol goed ,Woolish,is dit nie mooi nie. In die winkel het ek leer goed gesien wat ek wil probeer maak,sou n bv van alles koop maar is net so vrek duur. Het ook by die blomme mark gekom met blomme wat se : please do not touch !en geen wonder nie want nog nooit sulke blomme gesien nie een lot was bloed rooi met groen angeltjies in die middel en die ander weer helder pienk ook met die groen binnekant, vreemd lyk amper soos n tipe roos blom.
Het met my terugkeer na die dok area vir my n groot bier bestel want was vrek warm vandag en was teen die tyd stokflou geloop ,so dit was nou lekker,en skoon winddronk gevoel nadat ek met hom klaar was,mos nie gewoont aan bier drink nie,haa haaa.So daar bly sit tot dit tyd was vir terug keer skippie toe en die zoem gevoel weg was!!!!

29 July 2019: Nynasham Sweden

Hier was ons skoon opgewonde om af te klim sodat ons saam kon rondloop maar toe was dit eers die drill wat nooit gebeur het nie want hulle is besoek deur die mense wat skip inspeksies hou, so ons het eers baie laat weggekom. Gelukkig kon ons teen so 1 uur afklim en toe is ons eers winkel toe by die mall vir voorrade en natuurlik free wifi om alles op datum te kry en af te laai,snaak hoe baie mens nou ook wifi waardeur.,vat net ietsie weg vir n rukkie dan waardeur jy dit weer.
Het oppad na die hawe area n draai gemaak by die sjokelade winkel ChokladHuset plek se naam en vir ons 2 piep klein sjokelades gekoop en kan darm se, was heel lekker,so volgende besoek moet ons net die bier brouery opsoek wat deur 2 vriende begin is.
By die hawe was dit tyd vir cherries en roomys en het weer net rustig by die water gaan sit en liefie het n vinnige slapie ingekry. Siesta!

30 July 2019: @SEA
Today another sea day so all rustig ,behalwe vir n man wat amok gemaak het en gedreig het om van die skip af te spring en die arme drommel sit nou in die skip tronk tot more oggend,op so n skip se jy nie so iets nie, hulle sien dit in n baie ernstige lig.Dis so goed jy praat van n bom op n lughawe.
Het natuurlik gisteraand lekker gedrink tot in die vroee oggend ure en toe stry gekry met n vriend en nou sit hy in die tjoekie!! wat n comedown na n week van seil en plesier,seker nie eers geweet daar is so n plek op die skip nie.Dink nie hy sal ooit weer daai foutjie maak nie.
More is ons weer in Copenhagen en dan wag 9 dae van seil weer voor met ons nuwe passasiers.
Ons was eintlik nog baie gelukkig met die weer en ons seilery was tot nou toe heel lekker en rustig. Kan nie glo nog net 4 cruises dan is dit ook weer tyd vir my om my tasse te pak maar moet erken sien uit om weer huis en ons mense te sien.

14 JUNIE 2019: Port Elizabeth All excited to leave and join hubby in Coperhagen on Sunday,has been a long 6 weeks but the time has finally arrived. Dropped off nice and early to fly to Joburg. Liitle did I know that my time at the airport was going to go from leaving at 1 to leaving after 4!! All the flights were delayed without a word from any airport authority,all we got was flight delayed on the board and then the departure time that kept on getting later and later!!! I then phoned my travel agent to find what to do if I miss my connecting flight in Joburg,but was glad to hear that the airline that is responsible for the delay then has to get you to your destination or put you up in hotel for the night. Had worked out that had to leave PE at 4 at the latest to catch my connecting flight to Dubai. At 4.15 we eventually left PE and landed in Jhb at 5.55 and I knew I would have to run like hell and just hope no long lines at passport control to get to my gate in time. ...

18 August 2019: Copenhagen Vroeg vanoggend in die port aangekom en die kaptein het ons ingelig dat sy kontrak nou vir eers verby is en dat hy vandag huiswaarts keer na sy vrou en vier kinders in die Phillipyne,hy het 10 weke verlof. Ook vir ons gese dat die plek   besig gaan   wees met n sport byeenkoms en nog feesvierings so om dit in gedagte te hou met verkeer en reis tyd lughawe toe. Ek het eers getwyfel of ek gaan afklim maar toe ek eers van die skip af was tog besluit om rond te loop en op n baie vol bus in stad toe. Het eers in die Botaniese tuin gaan rondloop en dit was nogal spesiaal want net hier en daar iemand raakgeloop so omtrent die hele plek vir myself gehad. By die markie het ek darem vir liefie n ou geskenkie gekry so n dadel /neute tuisgemaakde koekie want die werk vandag en weet, so n eet dingetjie altyd n wenner en welkom. 22 June 2019: Helsinki Finland Well our morning started with a bang!! At 6 hubby,s phone rang with a code alpha message so that had him from sleeping to sitting straight on the bed in seconds, skrik my elke keer morsdood!!! Then it was a false alarm but the damage had been done and we were both wide-awake, so he decided to visit the gym en ek het bly le. On my first visit to Helsinki, so had breakfast and then it was time to go exploring all on my own. The area where we dock was disappointing for has nothing only the busses to collect people and no maps or information places, seating or tents nothing, so had to go on instinct. Walked all along the waterfront and when i got to dustbins with rubbish scattered all over the place was not a good feeling. There were lots and lots of ducks everywhere so don’t know if they were the culprits!!!
