22 July 2019: Copenhagen Starting to get the hang of it and got off the ship and went straight to the bus stop with my 24 krone to catch bus 25 to town. Decided to go and explore another part of the city center and it took me to the Kings Garden. Then i took a walk all along the different lakes on my way to   Orstedsparken to have my croissant and cappuccino overlooking this beautiful park away from the hustle and bustle of the city . The little market that i saw last week was not there today so assume it is only over a weekend so will have to wait for next stopover that is over a weekend. Then it was time for my weekly free Wi-Fi at Starbucks ,that was good for the internet was quick for a change, love sitting here for you have a view over the street with all the bikes and people coming and going. The trip back to the terminal was not that busy this time but i am always very glad when my eyes see the ship and i know back safe and sound. 23 July 2019: Rostock   ...
16 June 2019 : Tallinn   Estonia Arrived early this morning in this beautiful town that i just love. Also hubbys birthday but he is on duty so he is going nowhere. Was geared for rain for that is what the forecast said but thank goodness it only came after we had left port that evening, so we were very glad. I took to the streets once again and decided to take a different route this time but in the end i ended up in all sorts of interesting places that i did not get to see last time round. Just love the cobble streets and all these very old buildings with these very thick walls and steps that take you to places under ground. Also have these bolted doors that lead to underground places that you see in the movies, wish i could have a peep into what all happened here centuries ago. Then i stopped for some mini pancakes that i saw last time, not very healthy but lekkkeeeeerrr. On my way back to the port area i stopped at the local stalls and had to buy myself a   red ...
2 July 2019: Nynasham Sweden Arrived in this small port early this morning and its going to be a rainy day, the clouds are low and we cant complain for our first bad day regarding the weather. Got dressed to be brave and resist the elements but did not last long. We first bought a cup of cold coffee and then it was time for a sit in a cold tent with wi fi that i thought was great but hubby battled to download his things so was not toooo cozy! Just when we decided to go for a walkabout the rain came pelting down and we decided, no, this is not for us, walking around in 10 degrees in rain not so nice and we are coming to this port again, so we will put it on hold for now. A warm bed and a afternoon sleep sounded a lot better and last night was a late night after hubby only got to bed after 12 with all his work. Here you carry on until the work is done even if it means all night!! Is darem bederf   met n lekker koppie starbucks koffie in die bed   terwyl ek diep on...
